THE ROLE
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £19,000 per annum

Reporting to: Head Cashier

THE COMPANY
An Edinburgh based Legal Firm is currently recruiting for a Legal Cashier to work in their busy City Centre office. This company is a Leader in their Market and they provide Legal services to some of the UKs most successful organisations. The role involves:

Bank reconciliations
Bill Processing
Banking cheques in payment of fees and allocating to client ledger
Downloading for the bank system and allocating funds received by CHAPS to client ledgers
Issuing cheques
Preparation of Monthly reports
Dealing with Petty Cash
Uplifting funds from deposit and closing accounts
Daily legal cashiering duties
Arranging funds to be sent by telegraphic transfer
Allocating payments of invoices received by BACS
Dealing with Petty Cash, expenses and direct debits
Cheque production
Processing re-charge invoices


EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role you must have extensive Legal Cashiering experience with a good understanding of current Scottish Solicitors Accounting legislation.
