Full Description:
My client provide top quality roof trusses, high standard timber framed house kits and engineered floor joist packages. Due to continued growth they are looking for an experienced Roof Truss Designer to join their office in Elgin in the heart of Moray shire.

All Roof Trusses are designed by experienced designers and manufactured in-house by a highly skilled workforce using the latest state of the art CAD software and equipment. They use one of the leading Roof Truss Design Systems, undertaking projects from private housing, to large public and commercial developments.

Existing clients include builders, developers, joiners and self-builders.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of Auto Cad or a similar package and previous experience timber engineering design or construction would be an advantage. You will also be a good communicator and be able to assist in all areas of the design process.

Role and Responsibilities
*Produce efficient and effective design solutions with regard to the company's engineered timber products.
*Providing quotations and technical support to customers, generating enquiries from new and existing customers and obtaining orders.
*Liaising with Management, Clients and other Designers.

In return the company offers a competitive starting salary which will be reviewed yearly, 5 weeks paid holiday, company pension scheme. You will work Monday to Friday with a 1pm finish on Friday afternoon.
