Janitor
Salary £17,800 plus overtime, 37 days holiday and pension
East Lothian
Our client, recognised as one of the largest independent contractors within Scotland are currently looking to recruit a Janitor / Handyman to join their East Lothian team. You will be offered a competitive salary, overtime, extremely competitive holiday allowance and pension.
Reporting directly to the Senior Janitor you will assist in the implementation and delivery of PPM works, you will be responsible for the security of the premises and content. Dealing with adequate and safe levels of heating and lighting within the premises in accordance with health and safety legislation. And responsibility for inspecting the property and carrying out necessary maintenance actions both indoors and out, including joinery, plumbing, electrical works and painting.
Ideally you will have previous demonstrable experience working within a handyman/ janitorial position. A trade background would be beneficial but not essential. There will be overtime available for this role and opportunities to work over weekends. Successful candidates will go through an enhanced disclosure Scotland check prior to commencement of employment.
