My client requires a sheltered housing warden to cover for a period of around 3-4 months. You will be working within a sheltered housing complex which has 40 houses and also an additional 6 courtyard houses. You will be providing support and guidance to the tenants to enable them to lead as independent a life as possible.
The main duties of the role are:
- Providing all tenants with a daily alarm call
- Assisting new tenants to settle in to the development
- Greet and sign in any visitors to the complex
- Organise and coordinate social activities for the tenants
- Carrying out tests of alarm systems
- Respond to any emergency calls The shift pattern for this position requires the successful candidate to work for 2 consecutive days with 2 sleepovers. The day shifts are from 8am - 4pm and then 10pm - 8am sleepover shift. There may be opportunity for extra hours however this is not guaranteed.
It is a requirement that you have worked within sheltered housing previously or have extensive experience working with elderly clients.You willbe required to be put through an enhanced disclosure check. if you are interested in this position please contact me ASAP.
