    Description
    Our client is a key player in oil and gas service sector providing integrated engineering solutions to some of the best known operators in the North Sea. The company has seen some major growth over the past 2 years and have a plan to continue to grow internationally over the next 3 years.
    With this in mind they have an excellent opportunity for a bid management experienced person to join their growing proposals team. As indicated above, this area of the business is critical for the long term prosperity of the company making for an exciting and rewarding career opportunity.

    The key responsibilities are:

    - Responsible for the management of all aspects of the proposals department
    - Responsible for the preparation and submission of all proposals
    - To provide support to all divisions in the pre-qualifications, tenders and commercial proposals
    - To analyse the risks associated withtenders
    - Liaise with suppliers to ensure that accurate and compliant tenders are developed
    - Prepare all costings and cost models for tenders
    - Monitoring and review of all company commercial and bidding practices Skills
    The business is undergoing major change at the moment in relation to how projects are managed. For this position, therefore, they are keen to consider individuals that can offer new ideas to the business to help it move forward in terms of process


    - You could have a proposals or bid management experience either working for a oil operator or service company
    - You could also have a background in the construction industry working either for a main contractor or subcontractor as an Estimating Manager, Senior Estimator, Bid Manager or Proposals Manager
    - Be numerate
    - Have an attitude of will to do some hands on bid preparation if required
    - Management experience of small/medium sized teams involved in generation of bid and proposals Benefits
