- Mechanical Technician-Altens
Mechanical Technician needed for mechanical maintenance and repair of plant and equipment and installation. Repairs production machines and plant as requested to ensure minimum downtime.
Duties:
Installs machines and plant to ensure their safe operation in accordance with manufacturers specifications
Record maintenance work on machines.
Ensuring all maintenance operations are carried out in accordance with quality specifications where applicable and adhering to health and safety regulations.
Assisting electrical engineers to carry out their tasks when required.
To maintain a safe & tidy working environment.
Required:
Must be time served engineer.
ONC Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience in amaintenance department supporting production and/or manufacture.
Knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
Knowledge of Pumps and general rotational equipment.
Must be able to work 24 hour call out and occasional Night Shifts.
